| About Organ Harvesting in China |

"We believe there has been and continues today to be large scale organ seizures
from unwilling Falun Gong practitioners." concludes the "Bloody Harvest" report
by former Canadian Secretary of State David Kilgour
(left) and international human rights lawyer David Matas (right).
|

"The condition of prisoners in China is increasingly well-known but it is only in
recent months that a particular mistreatment - of Falun Gong practioners - has come to light,
namely the selection of prisoners for 'reverse-match' organ and tissue transplants, leading
to their deaths. This is genocide" said Edward McMillan-Scott, Vice President of the
European Parliament, who recently went to China to investigate Falun Gong abuses. He met with
two practitioners in Beijing, both were arrested and one is still missing.
|

"The Chinese government has yet to come clean and be transparent. It remains to be seen how
it could be possible that organ transplant surgeries in Chinese hospitals have risen massively since
1999, while there are never that many voluntary donors available," said UN Special Rapporteur
on Torture, Dr. Manfred Nowack in August 2009

As a student a member of Amnesty International, I'm horrified that such inhumane abuses are happening. The international community has a moral and legal obligation to investigate and stop these crimes against humanity. |

The idea of organ transplants is to save lives. Killing people to save lives is morally abhorrent. |

Removing organs from live prisoners for profit and underground harvesting markets shows the lowest moral standards I have seen in any nation. |

It is a crime against all humanity. We must take whatever steps are necessary to convince the Communist Party to stop this practice. If we stand back and let it happen without our voice of protest then we are more guilty than them. |

Something must be done immediately to stop this horrific crime against humanity. China's ruling communist party must be made accountable for these crimes. The mass organ extraction is among the worst crimes I have ever seen. |

I urge all relevant organizations due to thorough investigation into the reported 36 concentration camps where they harvest organs from live Falun Gong practitioners immediately given the severity of these accusations. |

Harvesting organs from unwilling prisoners is barbaric in the extreme. That many are prisoners of conscience, arrested for no actual crime, makes the practice even more objectionable. Every civilized nation should act to end organ-harvesting. |
